Doodle Penance: "create your own supper character"

This week's Doodle Penance is a little rushed on my end, because I've already got a lot to do today, and I wasted a bunch of time this morning reading reviews on The A.V. Club for no reason.

Someone came to our site this week looking for "create your own supper character."

I didn't have time to ink or color this week, but I'm sure you can see where I was going with this.

Click to enlarge, if you must. It's what it looks like: Poultry Man, Greens Lantern, and Bread Tornado.

Mike? What have you got this week?

—Also drawn in haste, but with love; this week, I have a culinary homage to Bryan Lee O'Malley: Knives Chow.

Is that one knife supposed to be standing on two smaller knives?

Dude.

Yes. The smaller ones are her legs. There had to multiple utensils because her name is KNIVES.

There used to be somewhere online you could generate superhero character images by selecting from all sorts of different visual attributes. Alas, I can't find it anymore, but here's a character generated by a friend of mine, "The Dandy Ram":

Dandy Ram

Wow. The Dandy Ram is PIMPIN'.

I'd read a comic about him. Especially if he was an amoral mercenary who ran afoul of The Human Fly. I'm not sure what suggested that connection in my mind, though...

Well, *I* think Supper Friends is awesome.

I think it's important that the team offers a balanced meal.
