This is what I graded over the Thanksgiving break. A lot of that stuff is printed double-sided, and I wrote on every page.
I have a half again as much to do between now and the end of the semester. Then, I may breathe (and blog) again.
Here you will find information on comics produced by Isaac Cates and Mike Wenthe, with more general comment on comics & collaboration; recommended reading; and sundry matters pertaining to the craft & criticism of comics. Particular attention will be paid to the two series Satisfactory Comics and Elm City Jams.

Two things: 1) Couldn't you, just, you know, NOT, assign so much? I mean, I know it's college and papers are what's done there but there are other ways of assessing. 2) Do I spot a comics page in progress in the background?
That thing in the background is actually a flyer from when Jason Lutes came to talk to my graphic-novel class.
And the problem isn't so much that I'm assigning a lot of work; it's that I have 130 students.
Your first post back should be about Jason Lutes' talk with your class.
Ah, I didn't take any pictures. He did reveal a few "secrets" about Berlin while he was here. Maybe I'll make a little post about those in, like, the new year. ...
