Hey, I like the way the colored version suggests that the alien is levitating alongside the robot, there.
I'm curious: do you find yourself doodling any more, or any differently, now that you've taken to mining your lecture doodles for blog art? Or have I just asked a fatal question?
Yeah, I kind of doodle a little differently now: I tend to finish my drawings, and to give them more room on the page, instead of confining them to margins or whatever. But if you're really curious I'll send you some of my grad-school seminar doodles to color.
Aren't you supposed to be sending me some of those, anyway?
Also, only now I stop to think about the title of this post. "A Robot with a Sense of Fear"--so am I to understand that "Ha-yaa!" as a cry of fright on seeing the "spooky" alien? I think I took it as a karate yell at first...
